Top and Backing Preparation:
• Top must be well pressed and lay flat to avoid puckers or pleating in the quilting process.
• Please clip loose threads and make sure there are no stray pins!
• Square the top by measuring in three places left to right and top to bottom and trimming excess.
• Press backing fabric and measure carefully. Backing must be at least 10 inches longer than the quilt top and 8 inches wider than the quilt top.
*For best results, piecing seams on backing should run horizontal to the quilt top.
